Research

      The department is actively engaged in research areas ranging from practical implementation to theoretical investigations. The research division covers various aspects of electrical engineering. There is an active and growing area of research in the field of power electronics & drives, power systems, whilst collaborating with each other and a variety of industrial partners.

      The research group focuses on power electronic devices and integrated circuits, and their uses in various applications. Other major research strands include FACTS and their integration in power systems, integrated design of electrical machines and drives and electromagnetic modeling. The research is published in leading international journals and conferences.
